I don't actually know what this is. It's heavy and metal, probably a bronze alloy. It has a pretty reddish brown tint to it. The turbine part rotates and moves the first gear, each gear rotates another. The farthest gear bearly seems to move at all. Whatever it is it's fascinating. I've been wanting to draw it and I finally did.
Yes I'm crazy. That's alot of gears and teeth... Artwork belongs to Joy Trujillo aka safyrejet. It seems my Grandpa told him that our Great-Grandfather worked with plumbing bronze fixtures and the like.*** Comments

Nicely done Joy,there is a poetry to that sort of motion... -- Trying is the first step to failure. Haha, it's great being an engineer and using "techincal" terms like that.
Thanks for the fav and comment. I appreciate it and I know what you mean about the poetry in gear mechanisms. I like to watch the gears spin each other. It's fascinating even though gears aren't really a spetacular technology. Maybe it's just the engineer in me. -- Optimist: "The glass is half full." Pessimist: "The glass is half empty." Engineer: "That glass is twice as large as it needs to be" Pi goes on forever And e is just as cursed But I wonder which is larger When their digits are reversed Must be,cos i think its great too!.
